Surf City Drug Rehabilitation's Policy
Our counselors and staff interact with
the residents each and every day; the residents are expected
to participate and interact with the counselors and staff.
Drug tests are administered on a random basis.
Any residents that are deemed to be a threat to our staff or
to themselves are referred to a different facility. Any
residents found to be under the influence of drugs during
their rehab stay are either asked to leave the program, or
are restricted to the premises and are not allowed to leave
the premises without supervision.
We have an open policy towards phone calls and visitors.
Phone calls can be made on the house phone, with free long
distance calling. Visitors may come over during regular hours,
and are allowed in the common areas of the house. If a
resident needs to go home or leave for a few days because of
a valid reason, we will accommodate them, as long as it will
not hurt the progress of their drug rehab.
Surf City Drug Rehabilitation is a pet friendly rehab center.
Do feel free to bring your pet! Pets are often used to help destress and "smooth" out people in a variety of clinical settings. We heartily agree with this philosopy. Referred to as animal assisted therapy or pet therapy, your peace of mind, as well as your recovery from addiction is important to us. Please refer to our Pet Policy on the FAQS page for more information.
