PROGRAMS Detox Detoxification is a 10-day program which includes 24-hour monitored care, an off-facility doctor, medications, with all food provided. In the early stages of alcohol or drug detox, the pains associated with withdrawal are often terrible. Surf City Drug Rehabilitation Center provides medically-managed residential alcohol detoxification and drug detoxification services for people suffering withdrawals from all substances including alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and all prescription drugs. Alcohol or drug detoxification from certain substances without medical supervision can be life threatening. Surf City Drug Rehabilitation Center provides residential, medically managed alcohol and drug detox in our home-styled detoxification center without the confines of a hospital environment. Under the direction of our physician, our guest's progress and needs are monitored around the clock by our highly skilled and experienced detoxification staff. Suboxone is available for heroin and opiate addiction. Residential Treatment Surf City Drug Rehabilitation Center's Residential (In-Patient Rehab) Treatment program combines the advantage of an intensive clinical environment for treatment while living in a confidential, supportive, residential home. This unique setting provides the maximum focus on the patient. The In-patient Rehab Treatment program includes a full medical and psychological assessment, an individual and group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, medication management, family involvement, and discharge planning for long-term recovery. The program also includes weekend entertainment such as beach outings, golf, coastal entertainment, and visits to Southern California's finest sporting and cultural events. All transportation to and from the residence is provided. Well-balanced, and nutritious gourmet meals are prepared daily and are included in program fees. We do permit the use of laptops and cellular telephones, unlike other facilities. The In-patient Rehab Treatment program length of stay ranges from 30 to 90 days. This program includes 30 hours a week of group education, 12-Step meetings, and one-on-one counselor sessions. Extended programs are also available. Often, persons suffering from cocaine or methamphetamine addiction can detox non-medically if they are in otherwise good physical health. In these less life threatening situations, rest and nourishment in the supportive and caring environment of Surf City Drug Rehabilitation Center is usually all that is required. Out-patient Treatment The heart of Surf City Drug Rehabilitation Center's Out-Patient Rehab Treatment program combines the ultimate in medical care and social protocols. The process begins with an initial screening, followed by a full medical, social and psychological assessment. We account for each patient's individuality and circumstance, which results in a highly effective and individualized treatment plan. Our hand-picked team of professionals meet weekly to review and update each patient's personal treatment plan, medications, and medical status as part of our substance abuse services.
